The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is process of instruction, spiritual growth, and faith sharing for those from other faith traditions who are seeking initiation into the Catholic community. It is also for baptized Catholics who desire full initiation into the Catholic faith by completing the Sacraments of Initiation (First Eucharist and Confirmation).
The process helps participants address questions such as: What is faith? How does it grow? What do Catholics believe? Why is it different from other faith traditions? How can I nurture and model faith for my children? What does it mean to become a Catholic?
If you or someone you know wants to learn more about this journey, we will be hosting an RCIA information session on Monday, September 18th at 7:30 PM in the first floor meeting room in the Ministry Center. Please contact Deacon George (see contact info below) if you would like to attend, have any questions, or would like to meet confidentially prior to the info session.
We are also looking for people who want be a part of our RCIA team. Please also contact Deacon George for further information.
