Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated on certain Sundays  at a communal baptism ceremony following the last Mass. 
 
If this is your first child being baptized, you must attend a required Baptismal Preparation class.  The Baptismal Preparation class is an evening of fellowship and instruction led by a Deacon.  This class takes place on a bi-monthly basis but you must register a few months in advance.  Baptism preparation classes are held on Wednesday evenings and are hosted by a parish couple in their home.

• January 9
• May 13
• July 15
• September 16
• November 11  

 
In order to schedule a baptism, please call the rectory office at 201-445-3703 and be prepared to give the information included on the attached form.  While preparing for this call, please note that when selecting Godparents for your child, there should be one godmother and one godfather.  At least one of the two Godparents must be a Confirmed Catholic (meaning that they have received the Sacrament of Confirmation).
