Ash Wednesday

Due to the pandemic, the Archdiocese of Newark has issued specific guidelines for the distribution of ashes this year.  As always, this is for the health and safety of all.  Ashes will be distributed to each person with the use of a long, clean Q-Tip.  We will follow the same procedure and safety protocols as we do for the reception of Holy Communion.
For those persons who are not attending in person church, "take home" packets of ashes (1 per family) will be available on Ash Wednesday from 1:15pm to 2pm outside the church.

We are required, by law, to adhere to capacity limits.  If the church reaches capacity at any of the liturgies, "take home" packets will be given to those who are unable to be accommodated, but ONLY if we are at capacity.
