What is faith? How does it grow? What do Catholics believe and why is it different from other faith traditions? What does it mean to become a Catholic?
Perhaps you or someone you know has such questions. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process to explore these and other questions. It is often called a journey of faith in which we welcome others to the Catholic family. It is a program for those who have never been baptized, were baptized in other faith traditions, or were baptized in the Catholic faith but never completed the Sacraments of Communion and/or Confirmation.
If you or someone you know wants to learn more about this journey, we will be hosting an RCIA information session on Monday, April 16th at 7:30 PM in the first floor meeting room in the Ministry Center. Please contact Deacon George (201-218-8555 or
geocarbone@gmail.com) if you would like to attend, have any questions, or would like to meet confidentially prior to the info session.
We are also looking for people who want be a part of our RCIA team. Please also contact Deacon George for further information.
