Councils & Committees

St. Catharine is a welcoming and collaborative parish community where interested lay women and men are welcomed and encouraged to participate on Councils and Committees which actively advise and assist the pastor in the co-responsible visioning, planning, and management of important parish ministries and temporal leadership functions.

• Buildings & Grounds Committee:  Serves the parish by meeting periodically to monitor the condition of and make suggestions for maintaining our large and beautiful campus.
• Communications Committee:  Provides timely and engaging information and news about the parish to fit the needs and lifestyles of our diverse parish members and the wider community.  Leverages a variety of old and new media to effectively reach people of all ages where they are.
• Finance Council:   Assists and advises the Pastor with overseeing and controlling the financial affairs and fiscal health of the parish.
• Pastoral Council:  Focuses on enriching the spiritual life of the parish and enhancing the sense of community here at St. Catharine by collaborating with the Pastor to discern the movement of the Holy Spirit in the parish.
