The St. Catharine Parish Choir is open to anyone in the parish in high school and older. Children who can read are also welcome if they are accompanied by a parent. We are always accepting new members and, while it is not a requirement that you have the ability to read music, the ability sing in tune is needed. The choir rehearses on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm and at 9am on Sunday mornings. All rehearsals are in the Hope Room. The choir sings at the 10am mass on Sunday mornings and at special Liturgical celebrations throughout the year. All members have the flexibility of choosing full participation, Sundays only, or seasonal celebrations only. Our first rehearsal will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 7:30pm in the Hope Room (please enter thru the Bell Tower). Come and give it a try, there is no obligation. There’s so much to be gained by lifting your voice in song and praise to our loving and generous God (and we have a lot of fun together too!!). If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the Director of Music, Sally Trahan, at [email protected]
Is your gift as an instrumentalist? If so, we would love to have you play with us. Be it brass, woodwinds, strings, or percussion – all are welcome! Please contact Sally ([email protected]) for more information and to set up an audition appointment.
*Please note: all choir members over the age of 18 must take the Protecting God's Children Workshop. * Please see the Parish’s Safe Environment Page for more information *
