We need your help! Once again, Family Promise of Bergen County's Youth Council for the Homeless is providing a two-week day camp for children residing in their sheltering programs. Camp Lots of Fun will be held this year at the Central Unitarian Church in Paramus during the last two weeks of August. Forty children, ages 5-12, will attend the camp. Family Promise has requested donations of lunch items from area parishes for the summer camp.
Our parish will provide bag lunches on Monday, 8/27 and a pizza lunch on Tuesday, 8/28. Small monetary donations to cover the cost of pizza, cold cuts and bread are needed, as are donations of juice boxes, water, fruit, chips and cookies. If you are able to help, please sign up using a site created for our parish. Go to www.signupgenius.com and click "Find a Sign Up" at the top. Under "Search for Creator's Email" enter janemdalton@optonline.net and then click on "I am not a robot." Click on Family Promise's Camp Lots of Fun Lunch Items. Click on the items you would like to donate.
All monetary donations (cash or check payable to St. Catharine Church) and food items should be dropped off at the rectory between Sunday, Aug. 19 and Friday, Aug. 24. Please contact Jane Dalton with any questions at 201-493-8509 or
janemdalton@optonline.net. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
