Join with your St. Catharine Parish family this Lent as we enter into this holy time of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. The parish is offering the following opportunities during this Lenten Season:
The Little Black Book for daily meditation will be available in the Narthex while supplies last.
Each week during Lent, a “challenge” will be proposed on a specific theme with suggestions on how to meet the challenge. Please consult the bulletin/website/CONNECT weekly for updates.
Rice Bowls will be available from Catholic Relief Services - your family’s Lenten almsgiving will help CRS make a difference for families trying to escape poverty.
Saturday morning Stations of the Cross: During Lent we will be praying the Stations of the Cross Saturday mornings, after 9 AM Mass. The 14 Stations of the Cross follow Christ on his journey to Calvary. Prayers and devout meditations are shared at each station, asking each of us to reflect on our own journeys, missteps or falls.
Sunday, April 3rd at 3PM - Lenten Concert will be offered by our Music Ministry in the church.
Wednesday, April 6th at 7:30PM – join us in the church for an evening of music and meditation as we prepare to enter into Holy Week. Walk with Jesus into Gethsemane and share with His “Agony in the Garden”.
Holy Week begins on April 10th with Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion. Specifics for Holy Week to follow.
