What is faith and how does it grow? What do Catholics believe and how is it different from other faith traditions? What does it mean to become a Catholic? How do I more fully enter into the Catholic Faith?
Perhaps you or someone you know has such questions. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process to explore these and other questions. It is often called a journey of faith in which we welcome others to the Catholic family. It is a program for those who have never been baptized, were baptized in other faith traditions, or were baptized in the Catholic faith but never completed the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation.
If you or someone you know wants to learn more about this journey, we will be hosting an RCIA Information Session on Monday, September 12th at 7:30 pm in the First Floor Meeting Room in the Ministry Center. Please contact Deacon George at 201-218-8555 or [email protected] if you/someone you know would like to attend, has any questions, or would like to confidentially discuss anything prior to the Info Session.
