Pre-Cana

The Pre Cana Program at St. Catharine Church helps engaged couples prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage by attending a workshop related to commitment and the practical aspects of marriage.  This one-day seminar from, 9am to 4pm, includes a series of talks by married couples followed by directed discussion and reflection.  Topics covered during the day include Communication, Family Life, Finances, Spiritual Married Life and more!  Our atmosphere is relaxed and casual while providing insight into the building blocks of a successful marriage rooted in Catholic faith and doctrine.
 
Breakfast, coffee and a deli-style lunch are included!

Registered couples receive a letter approximately one month prior to their Pre Cana date with further details and directions.  Questions??   Contact the Rectory at 201-445-3703
 
Remember to contact your priest to discuss plans for marriage at least one year prior to your wedding date!   
 
We are always looking for volunteers to help in a number of different ways:  speaking, shopping, set-up and clean-up.  We only offer Pre Cana twice a year so your time commitment is manageable.  If you are blessed with a solid, happy marriage and would like to share your success with others, join our team!   Please contact the Rectory if interested.
