A few notes:
As discussed, because the Monday School Model program is dependent on catechists and volunteers, registration for the Monday School Model program will be evaluated on a first come, first served basis if capacity is reached for a particular class. We encourage you again to look into your hearts and consider volunteering as a catechist this year, or talk to your friends about working as a team to co-teach and share the catechist responsibilities. You don't need to have any teaching experience, and you will be provided with everything you need to facilitate a class. There is also a tuition discount for catechists!
Grade 2 families: Sacramental Prep is separate from religious education classes. As fall begins, we will reach out with more information regarding First Reconciliation and First Communion.
If any families are experiencing financial difficulty and need to discuss tuition payment, please contact the St. Catharine Religious Education office via email at stcatharinereligioused@gmail.com.
Volunteering - Serving & Supporting Our Family Faith Community
It’s important to know that ALL of our programs require commitment from our families in order to be successful. We ask that you prayerfully consider volunteering your time and talents to any one of our programs as a catechist or a chaperone, or by offering any special talents or gifts for the benefit of our family faith community. Anyone working with parish children needs to have Protecting God’s Children certification. We can assist you in obtaining this short but essential training.
