Spiritual Authors Book Group

The Spiritual Authors Book Group meets every Monday morning from 10:45 AM-12:30 PM in the Ministry Center. ​​​We have been meeting since September 2007. We began studying the writings of Thomas Merton using the Bridges to Contemplative Living series. When we completed this series, we moved on to two different books entitled Spiritual Classics - Selected Readings on the Twelve Spiritual Disciplines and Devotional Classics - Selected Readings for Individuals and Groups. Next, we read Longing for the Holy - Spirituality for Everyday Life, and Wrestling with God --- selected insights of Ronald Rolheiser. We have recently finished Richard Rohr’s book, The Universal Christ.

We will start our new session on Monday, Sept. 11th with Rohr’s "The Divine Dance" (available on Amazon).

Our group (which currently consists of about a dozen people) is contemplative in nature and accepting of each other’s insights and reflections.
